Commiserating in a London pub over their sundry money and marital woes, Yank clerk Joe (Richard Basehart), USAF sergeant Eddie (John Ireland) and ex-boxer Mike (Stanley Baker) are approached by ruthless playboy Miles (Laurence Harvey) with a potential answer--join him in knocking over a mail van ferrying used bank notes.
