For world-weary contract killer Mitchell (John Hurt) and his fidgety apprentice Myron (Tim Roth, in his screen debut), the job sounded simple--go to Spain, abduct expatriate gangster Willie (Terence Stamp), and deliver him to the cronies he flipped on a decade earlier, awaiting in Paris.
