The Ice Follies of 1939

Joan Crawford and James Stewart team up for this Hollywood gem about an ice-skating duo--Mary McKay and Larry Hall--who fall in love and marry after completing their competition. However, Stewart becomes envious when Mary lands a picture deal while his career stagnates. He leaves her to become a success on his own, but the pair finds that they may not be able to make it without each other.
