The Kid From Spain
(1932)
When expelled college student Eddie Williams (Eddie Cantor) sets off to forget his woes in Mexico, he soon finds himself forced to be the wheel man for a gang of bank robbers, and then made to enter the bullring when he's mistaken for a famed matador. Breezy blend of laughs and song also stars Robert Young, Lyda Roberti, and "The Goldwyn Girls" (whose ranks include Paulette Goddard, Betty Grable, and Jane Wyman). "The College Song" and "Look What You've Done" are among the tunes. 95 min. Standard; Soundtrack: English Dolby Digital mono.
