Deliver to
Comic look at Washington D.C.'s housing shortage during World War II finds retiree Benjamin Dingle (Charles Coburn, who won a Best Supporting Actor Oscar) forced to share an apartment with young Connie Milligan (Jean Arthur). And when he rents half of his half of the digs to Sgt. Joe Carter (Joel McCrea), a soldier waiting to be shipped out, it's not long before Dingle's playing matchmaker for his roommates. George Stevens directs this romantic farce, later remade as "Walk, Don't Run." 104 min. Standard; Soundtrack: English Dolby Digital mono.
