Having taken his dad’s cab to venture from Queens to Manhattan, Pakistani-American college student Naz Khan (Riz Ahmed) gets flagged by an insistent uptown party girl (Sofia Black-D’Elia)...and finds himself invited back to her place. He awakens the next morning, however, to find his new acquaintance has been murdered...and himself starting a harrowing and seemingly hopeless journey through the penal system.
