The Queens

The virtues of constancy, fidelity, chastity, and honor are tweaked in this Italian-French anthology comedy that features four segments, each from a different director. The stories involve a hitchhiker (Monica Vitti) who proves overly appealing to her drivers; a seductive babysitter (Claudia Cardinale); a housewife (Raquel Welch) who inspires passion in her married neighbor's heart; and a rich woman (Capucine) who has a dalliance with her chauffeur.
