The Sapphires

In 1968 Australia, three small-town Aboriginal sisters (Deborah Mailman, Jessica Mauboy, Miranda Tapsell) sought identity and success through their gift for harmony. With the tutelage of a hard-partying Irish session man (Chris O'Dowd) and the recruitment of a fourth in their mixed-race cousin (Shari Sebbens), they get their first real break as they're sent to Vietnam to entertain U.S. troops.
