The Story of Sin

The innocence of beautiful Polish maiden Ewa (Grazyna Dlugolecka) became a thing of the past after her parents took in the handsome and charismatic anthropologist Lukasz (Jerzy Zelnik) as a boarder. After he heads to Rome promising to obtain a divorce from his wife, she elects to track him down...and falls into a series of exploitative encounters with unsavory strangers. Controversial director Walerian Borowczyk’s only project made in his native land also stars Olgierd Lukaszewicz, Roman Wilhelmi. 130 min.
