Set aboard a luxury ocean liner, this anthology film relates three tempestuous romances. First, a musician (James Mason) recalls his dalliance with a ballerina (Moira Shearer) and his fears of "The Jealous Lover"; irritated with the "Mademoiselle" (Leslie Caron) serving as his French tutor, a young boy magically becomes a man (Farley Granger); and a grieving trapeze artist (Kirk Douglas) pines for "Equilibrium" by rescuing a suicidal woman (Pier Angeli). With Ethel Barrymore. 122 min. Standard; Soundtrack: English Dolby Digital mono.
