After a lifetime of being pushed around, a nebbishy Manhattan mailman (Eli Wallach) decides to push back, starting by turning the tables on his abusive landlords. He then decides to indulge himself with a random kidnapping, but the housewife (Anne Jackson) he abducts has a few surprises of her own.
