This Emmy-award winning TV miniseries, taken from Dominick Dunne's novel and loosely based on true events, stars Ann-Margret and Claudette Colbert (in her final role) as the title characters. The two women become tied together in infamy forever when Ann-Margret marries Colbert's affluent son─much to Colbert's dismay─and then "accidentally" shoots him.
