The historical drama "Fire Over England" (1937) finds 16th-century a English naval officer (Laurence Olivier) on a dangerous mission for Queen Elizabeth I, infiltrating the court of Spain's King Philip to learn the Spanish Armada's invasion plans. Vivien Leigh co-stars with her future husband as a lady-in-waiting; with Raymond Massey. The whimsical romantic comedy "Storm in a Teacup" (1937) stars Rex Harrison as a reporter who takes a job at a paper in a small Scottish village where he falls for the daughter (Leigh) of the town's strict legal eagle; with Cecil Parker. And "St. Martin's Lane" (1938) is a touching drama featuring Charles Laughton as a London street performer who takes a homeless waif (Leigh) under his wing and helps her become a famous entertainer.
