In 1920s France, the free-thinking daughter (Audrey Tautou) of a timber merchant enters into an expected marriage with the heir (Gilles Lellouche) to the pinery adjoining her family's. It doesn't take long for her to start chafing under the arrangement, and when tasked with getting her sister-in-law (Anaïs Demoustier) to break off an affair, she begins acting upon her own repression. Director Claude Miller's final film co-stars Catherine Arditi, Francis Perrin. 110 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack: French; Subtitles: English. In French with English subtitles.
