Thomasine and Bushrod

Directed by Gordon Parks, Jr. ("Super Fly"), this action-packed blaxploitation western set at the start of the 20th century follows thieves Thomasine (Vonetta McGee) and Bushrod (Max Julien) as they rob rich white capitalists and share the loot with poor frontier minorities. As they deal with an evil sheriff and a beautiful bounty hunter who used to be Bushrod's lover, they enlist the help of a friend to pull off the heist of a lifetime.
