In World War I-era Britain, the First Lord of the Admiralty had no reason to suspect that his ostensibly loyal manservant (Eric Von Stroheim) was actually a plant smuggling military secrets to the Kaiser. The spy’s schemes, however, run up against an unexpected houseguest (Constance Bennett) with a covert agenda of her own. Second filming of Anthony Paul Kelly's 1918 play is a stirring espionage story co-starring Anthony Bushell, William Courtenay. 71 min. Standard; Soundtrack: English Dolby Digital mono.
