This collection of four action-filled silent shorts opens with "Stepping on the Gas" (1927), in which a race car engine inventor (Kenneth MacDonald) burns rubber to recover the stolen plans for his new design. The D.W. Griffith-helmed "The Girl and Her Trust" (1912) stars Dorothy Bernard as a spunky telegraph operator battling train robbers. A spectacular train crash highlights "The Juggernaut" (1915), with Anita Stewart and Earle Williams. And the overture to Herold's opera "Zampa" (1930) comes to life in a short starring Buddy Roosevelt. 57 min. total. Standard; Soundtrack: music score. Silent with music score.
