Returning to the small Australian town of Genoa for his father’s funeral, troubled psychiatrist Sam Franks (Guy Pearce) intervenes in a suicide attempt by amnesiac Ruby (Helena Bonham Carter). As Franks helps Ruby reconstruct her memory, he’s forced to come to terms with his own past, revealing an unexpected link to the mystery woman. Involving drama, based on T.S.
