Sibling crime novelists Cliff and Jim Brandon (Dermot Walsh, John Bentley) shared a family home and the services of secretary Joan (Rona Anderson). The unhinged Cliff, however, had his fill of his brother’s greater success--with critics, public, and romantically, with Joan--and he connived a convoluted scheme to murder her and let Jim take the fall.
