First, "Traveller" offers a fascinating look at the Travellers, a group of Irish grifters operating in the Southern U.S. Bill Paxton stars as a slick con artist who takes young swindler Mark Wahlberg under his wing. Together the two pull off a number of scams and team with a rival thief to out-scheme Romany Gypsies. With Julianna Margulies, James Gammon. Next, in early '60s Cleveland, a teenage Hungarian immigrant's attempts at fitting in receive a boost when he's taken under the wing of a popular radio DJ, but he soon learns that entry into the "in crowd" comes at a high cost. Brad Renfro, Kevin Bacon, Calista Flockhart, and Maximilian Schell star in "Telling Lies in America," scripter Joe Eszterhas' semi-autobiographical drama. 3 1/2 hrs. total. Widescreen; Soundtrack: English Dolby Digital stereo.
