Dondup (Tsewang Dandup) decides to journey from his isolated village in Bhutan to America, believing its culture to be far superior and more exciting than his own. He meets up with fellow travelers (including his young daughter) and a monk, who tells a story trying to convince Dondup─in spite of his "I Heart NY" T-shirt and infatuation with the West─that sometimes it is wiser to avoid temptations and seek happiness closer to home. Sonam Lhamo, Lhakpa Dorji also star. 108 min. Widescreen (Enhanced); Soundtrack: Dzongkha; Subtitles: English; behind-the-scenes footage; "making of" featurette; theatrical trailer. In Dzongkha with English subtitles.
