Writer/director Alison Mills-Newman also stars as the titular widow in this moving independent film─an African-American woman who decides to cope with her grief by surrounding herself with other women in need. By inviting them into her home, she is able not only to redirect her own feelings, but offer them something in return by sharing her religious ideals and connection with the natural world.
