Twilight: New Moon - The Next Chapter Begins. Bella Swan is ready to celebrate her birthday after almost losing her life to a vampire attack in "Twilight." Bella joins her vampire boyfriend Edward Cullen and his family for some festivities. During the party, Bella slices her finger, and this proves just how intense it can be to hang around vampires. To protect her, the Cullens decide it is best to leave Forks, Washington. In an attempt to get Bella to move on with her life, Edward tells her he is leaving because he does not love her. Bella is heartbroken, but finds comfort in her friendship with Jacob Black, who is going through some changes of his own. Some miscommunications lead Edward to believe Bella has died. He plans to expose himself to the Volturi so they will kill him, as he is overcome with grief. Alice and Bella go to Italy and save him.
