UFO Encounter of the Third Kind: The Rendlesham UFO Case

The Rendlesham Forest Incident is one of the most amazing in UFO History. In 1980, an unprecedented series of sightings and the actual landing of a craft of unknown origin occurred in Rendlesham Forest, Suffolk, England. The base was used by the U.S. Air Force during this period, therefore dozens of USAF personnel were eyewitnesses. The British Ministry of Defense denied that the event posed any threat to national security, and stated that it was never investigated. Some interpreted this as part of a larger pattern of information suppression, by both the American and British governments.
