Set in 1830s Australia, this atmospheric British miniseries stars Peter Cousens as a young Irish man who comes to New South Wales, where his uncle serves as territorial governor, and meets local land baron John Hallam and alcoholic wife Lisa Harrow, whom Cousens knew back in Ireland.
