New York newspaperman Bruce Corey (Edward G. Robinson) came home from his WWI service looking to run his own tabloid...but his only backing would come from shady businessman Merrill Lambert (Edward Arnold). Corey’s muckraking skills make the paper a hit, but when he starts bringing Lambert’s dealings public--and his star reporter (William T.
