In the early 20th century, two-fisted archeologist Mark Brandon (Robert Taylor) was approached by his late mentor’s daughter, Ann Mercedes (Eleanor Parker), with a plea to help prove her father’s theory that a factual basis existed for the Old Testament tale of Joseph, 11th son of Jacob. Their hunt through the Sinai for a pharaoh’s lost tomb is fraught with peril...and perhaps betrayal from within their own party.
