Deliver to
Double bill of early Lon Chaney dramas opening with "Victory," an adaptation of the Joseph Conrad novel in which a disenchanted wanderer claims a South Seas island as his own domain, then must defend it and the woman he loves from a treasure-seeking villain's minions (including Chaney as the knife-happy Ricardo). Jack Holt, Seena Owen, Wallace Beery co-star; Jacques Tourneur directs.
Then, a crooked pickpocket (Chaney) forces a slum girl (Priscilla Dean) into a life of thievery in the long-missing film "The Wicked Darling," the second screen collaboration of Chaney and director Tod Browning.
123 min. total. Standard; Soundtrack: Dolby Digital stereo music score. Silent with music score.
