Twenty-three-year-old Cole (Zac Efron) works as a DJ in California's electronic dance music scene, partying with his buddies while dreaming of hitting it big. Those dreams seem closer to coming true when he meets James (Wes Bentley), a more experienced jockey who takes Cole under his wing.
