In early-17th-century New England, Puritan farmer William (Ralph Ineson) made the willful choice to take his wife (Katie Dickie) and five children and stake out a property in woodlands far from civilization. Between the disappearance of their infant while under the watch of their eldest daughter (Anya Taylor-Joy), the failure of their crops, and the unending isolation, the family is ripe for succumbing to paranoid fantasy...and ultimate tragedy. Effective and acclaimed little chiller also stars Harvey Scrimshaw, Lucas Dawson, Ellie Grainger. 94 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack: English Dolby Digital 5.1; Subtitles: English, Spanish.
