In this vivid, violent drama from the Netherlands, an ex-con (Marwan Kenzari) turns to kickboxing to try and make a living after he is released from prison and rejected by his family. While a gifted trainer (Raymond Thiry) begins preparing him for battle inside the ring, however, the hardened fighter is driven back into the world of crime as mobsters vie for power in his impoverished suburban town.
