The World to Come

In mid-19th century New York, farm wife Abigail (Katherine Waterston) found her unfulfilling life with distant husband Dyer (Casey Affleck) tested further by the recent loss of her child. As they gain new neighbors in the vibrant Tallie (Vanessa Kirby) and her problematic spouse Finney (Christopher Abbott), the women find their immediate rapport blossoming into something far more, but it might not be enough to forestall cruel destiny, in director Mona Fastvold’s atmospheric effort. 98 min.
