Bill Pullman is Daryl Zero, an eccentric and reclusive master detective hired by Portland millionaire Gregory Stark (Ryan O’Neal) to find a lost key to a safety deposit box that holds evidence linking him to a crime. With help from hip attorney partner Steve Arlo (Ben Stiller), Zero uses his unorthodox methods to find the key and sort out all of the surprises tied to the case.
